1) I never thought of distance learning through "correspondence education." When I first heard the term I couldn't imagine how effective it could be. I pictured two people writing letters to each other via snail, asking questions and returning answers. Sort of like pen pals. But it is a bit more involved, and come to think of it, it still goes on today. I just took my traffic school class through the mail.
2) There is no significant difference between learning from television and classroom learning. hm.
3) That distance in education is a mere social and psychological phenomena. That when it comes to distance education, the term distance is not necessarily talking about the physical separation between student and professor, but rather the distance in the "transaction" of information.
