Type and Description of Deliverables:

There will be several deliverables for which students will be responsible, designed to prepare them for successful life and studies in the U.S.

Forum posts:

•Sharing one resource that you have identified as very useful for foreign students. This will be completed upon finishing Module 1, as a homework assignment. This deliverable is designed to help students be able to identify accurate resources and begin to develop a comfort level with cohort, helping their transition into study in the U.S. to go smoothly

Discussion board:

•Paragraph of commitment and understanding of academic integrity. This will be completed upon finishing Module 3, as a homework assignment. This deliverable is designed to develop understanding and accountability on the part of the student, and serve as a reference point should there be issues surrounding academic integrity during their stay.

•Introduction of classmate in another country through Discussion Board posting, upon completion of Module 4, as a homework assignment. This deliverable is designed to begin to develop comfort level with cohort, and become familiar with the use of on-line tools, which they will encounter in their classes.

Social Media Sites:

•LinkedIn-To be developed and shared during Module 4

•Facebook- To be developed and shared during Module 4
These deliverables will be completed during Module 4. They are designed to help students develop comfort level with cohort, depend on each other for success, and to begin to understand the importance of networking in order to land an internship.

Glossary:

•A tool in which students can share definitions of English terms that they identify as a result of their research. Not required, but useful in promoting objectives of increasing comfort level, connecting with other students, and sharing resources.
