Module 1:

Prior to the start of the class, the syllabus would have been posted on Moodle to all participating teachers. During the first session, the syllabus will be discussed as an overview for the week. The course goals and objectives, assessments, and grading scale will be discussed in depth. As we discuss the syllabus all teachers will have a copy with them, I will give an overview of our course communication methods. We will discuss our Moodle website where all of our their grades and assignments will be posted. After discussing Moodle we will begin our work using ZC. We will begin by having everyone log in and I will do the same to illustrate how to get to the login page. After that we will go over the different ways to take attendance. This lesson will take place using Adobe Connect where teachers will be walked through step-by-step directions to login and take attendance by section and by period. Next the teachers will be shown all of the various options that teachers can assess about a student including their contact information, previous test scores, and behavior reports via Adobe Connect’s shared screen. The instructor will answer any questions then teachers will be given a quiz.

Module 2:

The instructor will remind the teachers of the overall course goals and objectives and the objectives for the day via Adobe Connect and PowerPoint. Next the instructor will review attendance taking with the teachers and answer any questions. Once this is finished we will discuss the results from the quiz citing typical mistakes that teachers made. Once the review portion has been completed, the teachers will discuss the initial setup of ZG with the teachers. They will view the shared screen via Adobe Connect as I show them the setup screen for ZG where the teachers will discuss their pros and cons of each topic of ZG. Once the initial setup has been set, the teachers will learn how to input new assignments and fill in grades all at once or one student at a time. After every teacher has setup their categories for their scoring they will take a short quiz.

Module 3:

The instructor will discuss the past objectives and goals with the students to ensure that they’ve effectively addressed those points, and will explain the day’s objectives. The class will have a brief discussion via Adobe Connect on questions or concerns they have on ZG. Once this has been completed, instructors will review the quiz results from the previous day citing any mistake that stood out or was asked about. We will then discuss the various options on ZR and how to access them. To finish the day, the teachers will take a quiz.
