We will be using a lesson module with quiz to assess students understanding of the writing and revision process. While much of the standard requires students to actually create a composition, in order to do so, students have to be familiar with the requirements for writing and editing. After students complete a lesson on the requirements for a well-written composition, they will complete a quiz to assess whether they know the process. After students complete this lesson module and quiz from module 1, they will be prepared to contribute to the other modules.
In addition, performance will be assessed on the students contributions to the group wiki and overall participation within the group, and completion of forum and blog post requirements.
