Lesson One - Fire Safety
The wiki function will be used for students to compile the steps on how to safely setup, maintain and extinguish a campfire. Also, students will use the blog feature to share research they have conducted on actual forest fires.
Lesson Two - Drinkable Water Safety
The Forum function will be used to post Q&A for the group to respond to during the course of the module. It will also be the area of the Moodle site where trainees will submit a narrative of their experiences of actually going through the water purification process (final assessment). The trainee will also upload one photo on that forum post that shows them doing the process.
Lesson Three - Environmental Safety
The Forum function will be used to post Q&A for the group to respond to during the course of the module. It will also be the area of the Moodle site where trainees will submit a brief descriptive summary of at least (2) two external websites targeting one of the environmental concerns (climate, wilderness elements or geographical features). The trainee will also upload this summary and link on that forum post reviewing the website's content and its context aligned with the Moodle course.
