Once again, Google is demonstrating their ability to take over the world. Google Apps Education Edition includes Gmail, Google Calendar, Google talk as well collaboration tools such as Google Docs, Google Sites, and Google Labs. In addition, there are also various administrative and integration features.

The idea is that once you are uploaded into Moodle, you are automatically uploaded to Google Apps Education Edition. This gives the user the ability to collaborate with others regardless of what operating system they are using because of the ability to integrate systems.

This article interested me because one of the constraints I deal with at the K-12 level is the little hiccups or glitches one may encounter when trying to have my students participate in collaborative projects. With everything integrated from the very beginning, there should be much less headaches as far as the technology aspect which make everything more user-friendly.
