Module 1: Get to know Moodle
Students will learn a bit about Moodle, what it looks like, what it can do, and what it can look like by using Moodle from the student perspective.
Module 2: Initial Course Set-UP
Students will learn how to perform the initial set-up of their Moodle course by adjusting the settings, assign roles, groups, and files area of the Administration block in their own course.
The Modules below will be a part of the course but are not the focus for this class unless I am able to get this done super fast.
Module 3: Editing a Topic Area
Students will will learn how to edit the topic areas of their course. These areas are the heart of your Moodle course. They will learn to create the headings for each topic area and provide information to students and parents in the form of documents and links to important websites using the link to file/website resource.
Module 4: Creating Assignments
In this module, students will be creating two places for students to turn in work for a grade. One type of assignment will allow students to turn in a file or document. The other type of assignment will allow students to type their text in online.
Module 5: Moodle with Students
In this module, students will pair up with a colleague so that they each can experience having a student submit work to your course. They will add their colleague as a student to their course, submit an assignment, and grade it.
